Abstract

Knowledge sharing has been identified as a crucial enabler for organizations to strive for a competitive edge in a competitive business world (Wang et al., 2014; Asrar-ul-Haq and Anwar, 2016; Serenko et al., 2016; Manfredi Latilla et al., 2018; Abdelwhab Ali, Panneer selvam, Paris & Gunasekaran, 2019). Organizations invest heavily on knowledge sharing systems and putting knowledge strategy in place, but this alone cannot guarantee the actual knowledge sharing within the organization. The greatest knowledge asset lies within the minds of employees and it is extremely crucial for organizations to focus on the workforce. Eleven (11) of the fourteen (14) hypothesized relationships were supported. Based on the findings, the study discussed the implication and limitation of this study. The results of this study are crucial as it is shedding light on how employee engagement and its outcome would influence knowledge sharing behavior.
